Who: Year 6 students and their teachers.

When: Wednesday 4 December, 8:45am-3:20pm.

What to wear: Students are to wear casual clothes that are Sun Smart and appropriate for the activity they are undertaking.

As part of our PYP experience in Year 6 we have learnt about the Inquiry Cycle and how we use Action to reinforce our learning by involving ourselves with our community. This year for culmination day the Year 6 cohort will select an ‘Action Service’ activity to participate in for the morning, at one of the following locations:

Baptist Care

Navitas

Marymead

St John’s Care

Red Hill Bush Regeneration

Students will then enjoy a shared lunch at School, followed by a ‘Passion and Pursuits’ activity for the afternoon.

This day provides an appropriate blend of honouring the learning throughout the year with genuine service for the Canberra community and celebrating a wonderful year together as a cohort in the afternoon.
