Postponed – Year 6 Camp

Illawarra Region - Kiama to Berry

Postponed until Term 4  24th October- 28th October

Provider: Lands Edge https://landsedge.com.au/

The Year 6 programme is designed to allow students to take control of their program and practice good decision-making processes. It aims to develop student integration, socialisation, and transition from centre based ‘camps’ to Outdoor Education expeditions. The camp is split between various camping locations and outdoor activities. Students experience working in small groups for the week and building upon the skills they have developed in a range of outdoor education activities. A greater focus on relationships and reflective practice is introduced for this stage. This camp looks at the relationship between actions and their consequences and encourages students to take responsibility, challenge themselves and support others. Activities also encourage teamwork, communication and leadership.
