Who: Students in Years 5 and 6

What: Year 5 and 6 students have the opportunity to purchase a donated book with all funds supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, a national charity designed to reduce the disadvantage experienced by children in remote Indigenous communities across Australia by lifting literacy levels and instilling a lifelong love of reading. Event organiser Yvette Marris (Year 12 Vice-Captain of Clements House) invites Year 5 and 6 students to support this charity fundraiser by purchasing a book and connecting with the Year 7 cohort in their efforts to promote a love a reading and service to the community
Cost: Each book will be priced between $1-$5, with many of the donated books being brand new, recently published editions or classics.
