Established in 2000, the University of Newcastle Science and Engineering Challenge is an immersive STEM engagement opportunity introduces students to practical, hands-on applications of STEM via design-and-build ‘challenge’ activities, and facilitates healthy competition between schools. Event activities are designed to foster teamwork, problem solving and collaboration skills, and to provide insight into future STEM careers.
