The K-2 SRC members are proud to be hosting a fundraiser Walk-a-Thon. This year during SRC meetings, they have been researching, designing and working towards the purchase of a Learning Garden for the Southside playground. If there are any additional funds after completion the SRC would like to donate the remaining money to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

What to wear: PE uniform with a touch of your house colour.

A Walk-a-Thon booklet has been released to families via announcement. Your child will be bringing a hard copy home from Tuesday 15 November.

On the inside of the booklet is where laps will be recorded; every time your child completes a lap they will get a stamp adding up to the total number of laps completed.

On the back of the pamphlet is the donation page. Your child has been encouraged to ask family and friends to sponsor them for either 1) a certain amount of money per lap or 2) a one-off donation.

Once the Walk-a-Thon has been completed the students will collect the money from their sponsors. The SRC ask that money be collected in cash. Please ensure that all money is brought to school by Thursday 1st December.
