Dr Goetz Richter AM is currently an Associate Professor for violin performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has held positions as Associate Concertmaster with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra (1987-2004), Associate Principal Violin with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (1986/87) and leader of the Queensland Theatre Orchestra (1985/86). Goetz has appeared as a violin soloist, recitalist and chamber musician in Australia, Asia and Europe and has been a leader and guest leader of a number of Australian Orchestras. He has also collaborated with leading Australian and international artists, has appeared forMusica Viva and recorded for the ABC. He was awarded the Members of the Order (AM) in the 2019 Australia Day Honours List for his significant services to music as a concert violinist, artistic director, mentor and educator.

· 9:00am to 1:30pm: Open Masterclasses – performance in masterclass by application. All sessions open to the public
· 2:00pm to 3:30pm: String Pedagogy Seminar for Teachers
· 5:30pm to 6:00pm: Public Recital by Dr Richter AM
