Any students entering Year 3 and Year 4 in 2022 can learn an orchestral instrument through the IOP by experiencing small group and ensemble lessons for a year.

As part of registering for Instrumental Opportunities Programme in 2022, students attend the IOP Timbre Try-Outs on their appropriate cohort morning where they will undertake a listening experience to find the musical instrument that they will learn.
