When: The last day of Term 2, Friday 26 September will be a ‘Non-Uniform and Treats Day’ at Northside!
What to wear: Children should wear their play clothes (not dress up costumes) and closed-in shoes.
What to bring: Parents are asked to pack their child some extra food for the afternoon Buddy Break.
This day will be supporting SIDS and Kids and Red Nose Day, for which Harry in Year 2, has become a Northside ambassador. Harry has talked to all the children about SIDS again at a recent on-line Assembly. The most important way of showing understanding in a PYP student’s learning is by taking action. A charity contribution of $1.00 is included in the $5.00 cost to participate
Unfortunately, the P&F is unable to serve pizza this term. The children will instead be receiving an ice-cream, a small bag of popcorn and popper-box drink at Morning Break. The children will also be given a small sweet treat that they can take home with them at the end of the day.
RSVP: If you would like your child to participate in this day, with $5-00 in a named envelope to the Class Communication Box by Monday 21 September.
Please RSVP - even if your child will not be participating this term.
