Welcoming all new Music students! Meet the Orchestra is an experience for students in a fantastic way to introduce students to all of our diverse instruments that make up an orchestra and band.
Section-by-Section Showcase:
Strings: Have members of the string section (violin, viola, cello, double bass) demonstrate their instruments, their sounds, and how they are played.
Woodwinds: Allow representatives from the woodwind section to showcase instruments like the flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon.
Brass: Invite members of the brass section to present the trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba.
Percussion: Explore the various percussion instruments, demonstrating their unique sounds and how they are played.
Staff coordinating: Wendy Brentnall
