Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey

Kosciuszko and Namadgi National Parks

As part of the Duke of Edinburgh, your child has chosen to participate in the April School Holiday Bronze/Silver Adventurous Journey (AJ) in Kosciuszko and Namadgi National Parks.

Activities: bushwalking, camping, camp stove cooking, navigation, swimming, and campfires (conditions permitting).
Drop off/Pick up: Golden Grove. You will be contacted if these times change.

Accommodation: tents

Food: Students self-cater all meals in small groups. They will be supported in this process on the briefing day.

Ratio 2 CGS Outdoor Education staff members : 16 students
*Please note: for this program, one group will only have female staff members. If you would like your child in a group with both male and female staff, please contact outdoor.education@cgs.act.edu.au as soon as possible and this will be arranged.

Please ensure the CGS medical database is up to date and if necessary, advise of any dietary issues or concerns to outdoor.education@cgs.act.edu.au
