Chorale Auditions – calling all choristers!

Who: Students in Years 3-5 are invited to audition for our choir, the Chorale, for 2020.

Auditions: The auditions will be held on Monday 28 October in the International Centre in Music Room 1.

Students will have to sing a song learned in Year Level Choir.

Carols Service Auditions – Solo

Students in Years 4-6 are invited to audition for the first verse solo in Once in Royal David's City, to be performed at the Junior School Carols Service on Monday 25 November at St Christopher's Cathedral, Forrest.

Students who are interested can sign up during Year Level Choirs on Monday of Week 2. If your child is away on this day please send an email to Ms Claire Halse registering your child:claire.halse@cgs.act.edu.au 

The auditions will be held during school time on Monday 28 October with Ms Claire Halse and Dr Anthony Smith in Music Room 1. A timetable will be released in Week 2.

How do I prepare?

2. Practise singing at home using the following lyrics (learned in Year Level Choirs):
