All Students entering Year 7 in 2022 are required to  sit the Academic Allwell online testing on the 19th November.

This is not an entrance test. The purpose of the assessment is to provide us with information about a child’s literacy and numeracy skills. It assists us in identifying possible areas of need for enrichment or assistance. It also provides us with an effective summary of our students compare to other students in the ACT and NSW. This helps us provide a curriculum suitable to our students and also puts us in a more informed position when working with ACT and Federal programs aimed at supporting students in schools.

No one is assessed as “passing” or “failing” the tasks; nor is the assessment seen as a conclusive statement of your child’s ability. It is one of the measures we use, along with information from your child’s previous school, NAPLAN results and our own observations over time. All of these things allow us to monitor each student’s development.
