Saturday the 14th of December (a week after the students break up) there is a new Junior Regatta being held in the ACT (Grevillia Park) from 6:30am to 1:30pm. At this stage, the plan is for CGS to put in a boat, against other Junior crews from both Canberra and Interstate. I am very much aware that this is taking place during the first week of the holidays, but because the original regatta (which was down for this Sunday has been cancelled) I feel that this new regatta would be a good substitute, and would provide us with some much-needed racing. Therefore, a decision has been made to not make this compulsory. I understand that some of you may already have plans, and there is no expectation that you will change those plans. This is a regatta only for those who will be in Canberra, and are able to race on the 14th. Can parents please reply (via return email) on behalf of your child, letting me know that they will be available on the 14th. If I don’t get a reply, I will assume that your child is not available.
