Welcome Day – Northside Early Childhood  (Campbell, Kindergarten to Year 2)

Welcome Day allows the children another opportunity to visit the School to reacquaint themselves with their surroundings, ask questions and be ready to start their first full day of school with confidence.  Children should attend in neat casual play clothes, including a hat and closed in shoes, with their parents. 

The Kindergarten Session will be from 10:30am – 12:00noon.  Parents and children should meet in the Kindergarten classroom.

Year 1 and 2 children are invited to drop-in to their classroom between 1:00pm and 2:30pm.  This is an opportunity for the boys and girls to meet their class teachers, reconnect with classmates and to ask questions so they can be ready to confidently start their first day.  Students should wear neat play clothes, a hat and closed in shoes.  A parent or caregiver is also asked to attend this session to assist with the transition process.  It will be an opportunity to meet the class teacher and other specialist teachers.

There is an opportunity for parents to attend a Cyber Safety Workshop presented by ThinkUKnow will run in the Gallery from 12:00noon – 1:00pm.
