This tournament has a long history at CGS with winners being acknowledged on a Perpetual Trophy that has been awarded for the last 30 years. 

The tournament will be played as modified Tennis matches in a round-robin format to ensure a better time management and everyone can play several matches a day. 

We invite all tennis players in Years 3 to 6 that wish to participate in either the Singles and/or the Doubles Tournament to submit an entry via email to Mrs Jessica Wanner at jessica.wanner@cgs.act.edu.au no later than Friday, 16th October. Please ensure you outline which Tournament - Singles, Doubles or both that your child wishes to play in. Doubles pairs will be selected on the day. 

Please note: 

Year 3 and 4 players will be playing with red balls on smaller courts (red courts). Students need to be able to track scores independently.

Year 5 and 6 players will be playing with green balls on full-court. Students will need to be able to serve consistently and independently track scores. 

Time: 9am – 2pm (single matches will be played first followed by double matches)

What to bring: Tennis racquet, Water bottle, sunscreen, snack
