Year 6 Camp

Biloela, NSW

Students in Year 6 will be travelling to Biloela, approximately 150km North East of Canberra, for camp, as an extension of their Unit of Inquiry, ‘Where we are in place and time’. Camp is part of our curriculum at Canberra Grammar School and a wonderful experience for all students.

The students will participate in a range of activities that build on their classroom learning. This will be the fourth ‘camping’ experience for the students as part of the School’s Outdoor Education Programme. The Years 3-6 program is sequential and is designed to become more challenging as the years progress, culminating in a ‘camping expedition’ in Year 9. The Outdoor Education Programme is an enjoyable and valuable learning experience for all students as they move through the School.
