Each semester, the Primary School music department run Soirees as an opportunity for students who are learning an instrument/voice to share their progress through performance. The Soiree concerts are approximately 45 minutes in length and parents and friends are invited to attend. This term, Soirees are allocated in House groups, affording the opportunity to gather together to foster House spirit and celebrate student success in Music.

Garnsey House

When and where: Thursday 12 September

6:00 - 6:30: House Gathering and Refreshments in the JLH Foyer.

6:30 - 7:30 pm: Concerts in the Southside Studio & John Lingard Hall

From 6:00 - 6:30 performers required for rehearsal and preparation in performance venues

What to bring: Performers should bring their instrument as needed, music, and a bottle of water.

What to wear:Performers may wear smart casual clothes or their full academic uniform.

Shakespeare House

When and where: Thursday 12 September

6:00 - 6:30: House Gathering and Refreshments in The Snow Centre Foyer

6:30 - 7:30 pm: Concerts in The Snow Centre and CGS Chapel of Christ the King

From 6:00 - 6:30 performers required for rehearsal and preparation in performance venues

What to wear:Performers may wear smart casual clothes or their full academic uniform.
