Boarders Stay-In Weekend Trip
Jindabyne
Term 2 Boarders Stay-In-Weekend Trip to Jindabyne. We will be using School vehicles to get to ALI Jindabyne. Once there we will break into 4 groups. Our Year 7,8,9s will be riversledding and mountain biking. Our Year 10,11,12s will be abseiling and mountain biking.
PROGRAM INCLUSIONS
ALI will be responsible for providing the following aspects of your program:
ACTIVITIES
Mountain Biking on-site at Bungarra’s Mountain Bike Park. Students will be assessed according to
ability and guided by specialist staff, learning new skills and navigating various terrain and trails to
develop riding skills.
River Sledding on Thredbo River. Students will be guided down the river on river sleds by specialist
guides.
Abseiling near Jindabyne Dam Wall. Specialist guides will assist students in short & long abseils and
learn techniques for rock climbing.
ALI GUIDES & GEAR
One ALI Team Leader assigned to each group. They will focus on leadership and decision making
within their group and encourage resilience as the students are faced with new challenges
ALI to provide qualified specialist guides to conduct the activities
ALI to provide all specialist equipment for the activities being conducted

THE SCHOOL WILL NEED TO PROVIDE: Minimum 1 school staff attending per team. Medical risk management plans for students attending. Dietary risk management plans for students & staff attending. Please Note: Team Lists, Medical and Dietary inclusion plan information to be provided to ALI 21 days prior to your arrival. INCLUSION PLAN If a student requires additional support for any reason while participating in the outdoor program, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible. Our goal is to include all students to the best of our ability, and early notification will enable us to make the necessary arrangements. In order to provide the appropriate assistance and accommodations, we request that you provide us with the following: 1. School Inclusion Plan: This plan should outline any specific requirements or accommodations that the student may need during the camp. It is essential to have a clear understanding of the student's needs to ensure a safe and inclusive environment. 2. Medical History: A comprehensive medical history of the student, including any allergies, chronic conditions, medications, and emergency contact information. This information will help our staff respond effectively to any medical situations that may arise during the camp. Please be assured that all information shared with us will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of ensuring the safety and well-being of the students during the camp. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate in this enriching experience, and we are committed to working closely with your school to make that a reality. Your cooperation in providing us with the necessary information will greatly assist us in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Acceptance of this proposal requires that the school obtain parent/guardian signed waivers that acknowledges the risks for each student before they can take part in the program outlined. You understand that whilst Action Learning Initiatives and its service providers attempt to minimise the risk of personal injury, incidents may still occur, and all physical activities involve an element of risk. Risk Assessments for all activities that are conducted are available to the school or group via our website.
