David Messina and Lauren Hargreaves are accompanying four students to Duncraig School Perth, WA leaving Friday 6 December and returning Monday 9 December. David Messina is the main organiser and will not only supervise the team of four girls but coach them for a major chess competition, that being the Australian School Teams Chess competition. Flights and accomodation will be booked and parents will pay 100%. Staff costs will be covered by the chess budget and also ACT Junior Chess League will contribute $2000 for the trip.
