GATEways Ignite

PS138 and PS139

GATEways Ignite is a a one-day Critical & Creative Thinking programme for gifted and talented students. The day will consist of two workshops run at Canberra Grammar School for CGS students only. A GATEways staff will lead the programme.

Years 1 to 3: 22 students involved
Years 4 to 6: 22 students involved

Times: Students attend from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Start of Day Arrangements
Red Hill students start school at the normal time in their home classroom.
Year 1 and 2 students will be collected from the classroom at 8.45am
Year 3 to 6 students are to meet in JLH Courtyard Garden at 8.45am.
Northside students meet Mrs Johnston-Robinson in the Southside Foyer from 8.30am.

End of day arrangements:
Year 1 and 2 students (including Northside students) to be walked to Alexander Street Drive Through for collection by parents and carers.

Year 3 to 6 students return to class teacher at 3.00pm for their home session.

After-school care enrolled students: Parents please email Emma Johnston- Robinson to inform if your child is attending After-school care and staff will assist with their transfer.

Cost: $120 per child paid directly to GATEways
Location: PS138 and PS139 Primary School Classrooms
Uniform: Formal academic uniform
Students will attend morning and afternoon break with the rest of the school.
