Year 1 will attend the National Zoo and Aquarium to learn about animals' needs and their habitats. We will partake in a guided Discovery Learning Session, and will also explore the zoo ourselves. This excursion will be a valuable part of our unit of inquiry "How We Express Ourselves", in which we will practice expressing our knowledge about animals in creative ways.

Students are to bring a packed morning tea and lunch, water bottle and hat.
Note lunch orders will not be available for students attending the excursion.
