Dear Parents and Friends of Guitar Ensemble members,
You are invited to see your child perform at the Guitar Gala event. Members of the Primary Guitar Ensemble, Senior Guitar Ensemble, Senior Advanced Guitar Ensemble will join with other local school guitar ensembles to participate in an afternoon workshop with visiting specials Paul Svoboda, before performing an early evening concert for family and friends.
The aim is to create a collaborative learning, and performance opportunity with visiting school ensembles, under the guidance of Mr Svoboda. In the concert, each attending ensemble will perform a short focus piece, and then all students will join to perform a special piece written by our visiting artist.

Date: Fri Sept 20- 4:00pm-7:00pm
Venue: Snow Concert Hall (SCH)
Schedule:
• Guitar ensemble workshop 4-5pm (Working with Paul Svoboda)
• Dinner 5-5:30pm (students only CGS Dining Hall)
• Concert 6-7 pm (Parents and Friends arrive 5:50pm for a 6:00pm start)
Costs: $30 per student (includes Dinner and Workshop- charged to school account)
Dress: School Uniform
