Named after Australia’s 27th Prime Minister and international advocate for women’s leadership, The Gillard Forum invites students in Years 9 & 10 from ACT schools to participate in a day of debating, advocacy and critical thinking inspired by Gillard’s famous 2012 ‘Misogyny Speech’. Students will develop their leadership and oratory skills, network with peers and contribute to the annual publication of the Gillard Forum’s 'No Walking Away', a collection of young voices on topics that matter to them.
