As part of the Year 3 Outdoor Education Programme, students will be participating in a 3 day, 2 night excursion. Below is a summary of the proposed activities.

Departure: Alexander Street at 7:30am Wednesday 18 Sep
Return: Alexander Street at 4:00pm Friday 20 Sep

Activities include:
Bushwalking, navigation and scavenger hunt
High/Low ropes
Teamwork/initiatives/challenges,
Art lesson,
Frisbee Golf,
Movie night,
Board games,
Campfires and marshmallow roasting

Accommodation and Facilities:
Dormitory style
Amenities include showers and toilets on-site

Meals:
Students to bring their own morning tea on day 1. Please ensure this follows the CGS nut aware policy and is enough to sustain your child until lunch at 11:30am. All other meals provided.

Staff and Supervision:
All tribes will have at least 1 CGS staff member and 1 Optimum group leader. Additional activity leaders and staff where required.

Communication:
Updates, photos, and announcements will be communicated through the Year 3 Outdoor Education website. We anticipate publishing a group photo daily at 4pm and an individual photo of each student after the event.

Wednesday 4th September
CGS Medical treatment advice forms, consent forms, and permissions to be finalised. Please ensure these are updated via the Update Student & Family link on CGS Connect.
